Belkin F7D3302 v1000 N300 Share Router

This router by Belkin is fairly cheap N300 router that utilizes MIMI 2x2 technology. This router can be purchased for cheap and can be loaded with DD-WRT. Fairly easy steps and hard to hard brick, and easy to soft brick. Soft bricks can be usually recovered using PC, where as hard brick are recovered using serial JTAG or UBS TTL adapters. I am in the process of making a video for DIYers on how to open this router incase you need to JTAG or if you want to add passive heatsinks to avoid heat. I think it is better to drill fairly small holes aka vents on the side of router to release heat. Belkin did extremely poor designing by put vent on the bottom which is covered by it's stand. This router will get hot running on MIMO on Wireless N during summer and drop connections. So passive heatsinks will help stabalize it. You'd want to put one heatsink on CPU and one on frame buffer chip.
I will create a tutorial soon and post it.

Useful to know, mate. I will get the drill out. Had just put it away after feeding a network cable to this overly-cheap router.
Avoid Belkin stuff in general, they are utter jokers and should be allowed to starve until hunger makes them up their game.

Human ignorance of IT is a main building block of modern capitalism...
