Would a 3G iPhone Benefits T-Mobile Customers?

If you are on T-Mobile network and thinking that 3G iPhone is beneficial buying it... I would say no. Do not buy 3G iPhone as it is not worth for T-Mobile Users. Look at the reason below.

There are different frequencies that the 3G network uses and as long as your phone supports the 3G provided by your service provider, then the phone will work.

HOWEVER, T-mobile USA 3G uses 1700 MHz spectrum for download and 2100 MHz for upload (850/1900 for voice). AT&T uses the 850/1900 MHz frequency spectrum for 3G data (850 MHz for voice).

If the phone doesn't have a radio with the correct frequency, the phone will not work. It is highly unlikely that Apple will include a odd-ball 1700 MHz radio with the iPhone because if i recall correctly T-mobile USA is the only one to use this frequency. You will still be able to use the "3G" iPhone on T-mobiles 2.5G (EDGE) network (backwards compatible) meaning the phone will work and you can get data, just at EDGE speeds.

Now think is it worth spending double $$$$ for something that won't benefit you over T-Mobile network!!. Think 20 times before you make a purchase.

Tip & Tricks for WinXP [PC]

Follow below steps to increase your WinXP performance.
1. Set internet explored history size to 50mb
2. Make sure pagefile space is your ram size times 1.5. (ie: 1gb *1.5=?)
3. Type msconfig at run and disable unecessary startup items.
4. Disable deletion of pagefile if you are sole owner
5. Disable unecessary services on your of
6. Unistall extra unused softwares
7. Run disk cleanup utility
8. Run defrag 2-3 times
9. Run antivirus, antispybot, microsoft bootvis
10. Restart your of and enjoy :)

PSP FuSa 1.0 Build 32 Released [PSP]

To all PSP Fans out there.

The FuSa project has a new home and a new build available for download. OldPrisoneR and Andy_maN’s combined efforts have paved the road to pure awesomeness. Take advantage of PSP Slim’s TV output support with the use of any cables. That is RIGHT!!!!
You can now use composite, component, s-video, d-terminal, etc… And not only that, full screen (at 4×3) too!

Things are a bit buggy; FuSa is beta software. See the README for known bugs and other info.

3G iPhone and New Firmware 2.0 [iPhone]

The 3G settings page was found in the latest beta release of 2.0 firmware. If you don't know, 3G obviously drains battery power similar to Wi-Fi. Worried about battery power now? Don't worry in an effort to save some battery life Apple has included a setting to turn 3G off, and use normal slow edge instead.

As per Sales Rep in AT&T Store, 3G iPhone will be in stores around June 15th or 18th. . Taking above into consideration iPhone's New Firmware 2.0 will be coming out around those dates. In addition, you might not be able to purchase iPhone from Apple Store or via their website. You might notice any order you place, will go on backorder with no ship date available.

Moreover, The 3G iPhone has been rumored to have a starting price even higher than the original iPhone at $599 for the 8GB and $699 for the 16GB.
